Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based like oat/almond)
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp brewer’s yeast
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (almond, peanut, or sunflower)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional Toppings: banana slices, berries, chopped nuts, coconut flakes, dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine oats, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
  2. Stir continuously until it begins to thicken (~5–7 minutes).
  3. Add ground flaxseed and brewer’s yeast. Stir well to combine.
  4. Once oats are fully cooked and creamy, remove from heat.
  5. Stir in nut butter and maple syrup or honey if desired.
  6. Top with your favorite additions like fruit or nuts. Serve warm.
